FlameOFF® Coatings, Inc. manufactures intumescent coatings that are IBC/NFPA Code Compliant for ASTM E119 fire endurance ratings that require 1 or 2 hour fire protection in accordance with UL 263 (ASTM E119), CAN / ULC-S101 and ISO 834 standards.
To achieve the proper fire rating, our coating must be applied to the specific Dry Film Thickness (DFT) listed in our technical data sheets. The Wet Film Thickness (WFT) can be applied at 15-45 mils depending upon applicator experience and rating requirements. For applicators not experienced with our product we recommend applying additional coats at lessor amounts to achieve the required DFT.
